Sew Loka hosts Sewing Workshop at NIKE World Headquarters (10/13/22)

Sew Loka hosted a cut and sew workshop inside blue ribbon studios at #nikeworldheadquarters and it was one of the coolest and most fun things that we have ever done for the workshop, we took recycled hockey jerseys and transformed them into beautiful 1/1 tote bags it was sew much fun!!! #blueribbonstudios is a maker’s playground, a designer’s dream, and it really did feel like a dream the whole time we were there, surrounded by so many incredible designers and artists. We were intimidated and nervous at first, but as soon as we arrived in #beaverton #oregon the whole Nike team made us feel welcomed, supported and appreciated I spoke a lot about my love for sewing and my passion for slow fashion and sustainability and I really feel like I made a beautiful connection with so many people there and I am truly, truly grateful for this experience!!! Thank you again to the entire #nike / #blueribbonstudio team (esp Diego & Nereida)
